My other thread got closed, thank you everyone who helped me understand the glide speed concept.
Yes i am a sim flyer at the moment, but i do have 9 hours dual, and will be getting back in the air soon, when i save up to complete my training. when i was taking my lessons years ago, i thought all i had to do was throw money at my instructor and i would be given my license. This time i want to learn as much as i can prior to taking lessons so maybe i can get more out of them, since im paying for them, i want to be an asset in the air not a liability.
