I thought the crc fix was shunned? (Since I’m on a Pi 2 with extra headroom for the processor I’ve enabled the oversample, dc filter and noise-measure)
–fix is OK, it’s a good risk-reward tradeoff, it gives you quite a few more good messages and barely changes the undetected-error rate.
–aggressive is not so good, it only gives you a few more messages but greatly increases the undetected-error rate.
The CPU overhead is really tiny now, FWIW. It was expensive in very early versions, but it’s long since turned into a table-driven lookup that’s fast.
