Airport terminal maps

As a previous air traffic controller and now and executive assistant - I usually can find the terminal maps w/gate information online using various websites, however it would be nice if I could do my flight tracking and be able to provide my executive a terminal map when he has connections to assist him with his travels. PDFs would be great!

Thanks!

Hmm… That would be rather hard to do at some airports in the US, as it is up to the airport in question to provide that, not the airline. For example, at KLAS, Southwest Airlines uses the C gates/terminal for most of its flights. As to what gate, you won’t know, as they are subject to change, and only the airport will have the most current information on that.

In the UK, the airlines provide that information, IIRC. But if you look at, for example, 204.108.4.16/d-tpp/0813/00662AD.PDF … You won’t see any information for a given airline, even though that is the airport diagram for KLAS. Best bet would be the airports’ websites.

OAK - and I imagine other airports - allow airlines “first dibs” on a given set of gates.

Here’s the link to the PDF that contains the regulations for gate assignments at OAK: www2.oaklandairport.com/tenant_i … edures.pdf

I’m not looking for you to predict which gate each aircraft will pull up to - you’re not psychic. I’m looking for a map of the gates at each airport. It took me an hour on the internet to find a map for Dallas’ Love Field. So if my executive flies into an airport and has to make a connection - I can give him an idea of how far it is from gate to gate using the map - this is critical for European flights particularly with connections in Amsterdam & Paris. You see to get around some of the “legal connections” when booking flights we have to book tighter connections than the airlines will allow. We do this by booking the flights separately.

there is a good reason to buy a bizjet!!!

First thing- How about yall can get us who is landing at the airport right now live like non vfr plane tracking. There is some people who would want that. Please message me back and tell me how is that idea.[/list]

Passur may be what you’re looking for.

Thanks, ty, for fielding that…my Universal Translator was not working on that one…TC

Did you try looking at its airport page on FlightAware? For example, look at Cortez, CO, a smallish airport. In the middle section is a list of arrivals and departures; above it is a map that shows anything in the area, including what’s flying overhead on the way to and from the LA area.

To get your airport displayed like this, look in the toolbar at left for the “Airport Code:” box and the orange “View Airport Activity” button.

not that one i am talking about suppose u go to airport and u see a plane that land or take off and u go home and go on flightaware.com to go airport activity to see what flew and u dont see same plane u saw land or take off without on flightaware. What happen? message me back.

There are several reasons a flight wouldn’t show up on FA, and most of them boil down to “they didn’t file an IFR flight plan”. FA gets its data from the FAA ATC data stream, so if it flies VFR (for example), or the tail number is blocked, then it won’t show up on FA. See the FAQ for a little more detail.
