Airbus Designation

Hi guys
Could anyone advise me on the difference between the aircraft types
A346Q & A346W?
I apprciate that they are both 340-600’s but as for the Q & W ???

Are you talking about A346**/Q and A346/**W. See the Questions/Answers (link above right on every page in FlightAware). Specifically, see the section on suffixes at

The suffix “Q” or “W” is used to notify Air Traffic Control what navigational capability the aircraft has. “W” means the aircraft and crew are certified for RVSM (reduced vertical separation minimums) operations. “Q” means the aircraft is RVSM capable AND meets RNP (required nav performance) requirements for the intended route of flight.
