Wasn’t the A380 originally going to have this standard? Why did Airbus back down? I mean, I think it’d be beneficial to have the birds wi-fi ready (access points, switches, etc). Whoever receives them doesn’t have to use it at the time of delivery; but in the future I could definitely see this as being as standard as in flight audio or the now defunct AirFones.
