That is why with the mini-crashes lately, I am not worried since I bought my shares around $2.50

It’s official: UPS has finally cancelled its A380F order, after months of delays, and weeks of speculating on what they would do. The company issued a press release today, which I don’t have a link to, but here’s one that should suffice. It’s also on Reuters, but this URL was a little more user-friendly.
Here’s the press release I think you may have been talking about.

More bad news for Airbus:
Airbus crisis deepens with plunge into losses
Analysts at Citigroup investment bank said prospects for Airbus were now “awful” after management warned of vast cost problems and signalled that recovery by rival Boeing was hurting the group.
)Parent Company EADS Reports Loss of 768 Million euros ($1.01 billion
The company’s co-CEOs said things would only get worse before they get better.
While it is often called “The Whale”, I think a much more appropriate nickname for the A380 would be the “WHITE ELEPHANT”!
What I found amazing was that profits at EADS were slashed by 86% in 2006 even though revenue was up 15%.

Earnings before interest and taxes were down 86%; net profit after taxes is down 94%!

planeaholic:
Airbus is run by a group of egotists who can’t seem to find their own asses, with all the ass-covering they’ve been attempting for the past year.
An elephant is a mouse designed by a committee!
The A380 is the elephant and the Cessna Skyhawk is the mouse.
