did anyone notice the A318 from Shannon to JFK today? British airways…that has to be wrong?
Not wrong. BAW has started business class flights between London City Airport and New York using the A318. For postings on this use the search link at the top of the page.
The return flight - BAW2 is scheduled to go nonstop to London City. The westbound flight stops at Shannon for fuel and to preclear USA customs.
Did JFK - LCY flight a couple of weeks ago. Fantastic service and very convenient to downtown. Need to stop at Shannon on way home b/c LCY is too short to go out full and make it across pond. 32 biz class seats operated under old concorde flt #s
Rumor has it, maybe it’s already happened for all I know, corporate aircraft will be able to pre-clear US customs at Shannon pretty soon too.
