4 month old B737-800 Air Berlin - runway over run . . .




Dortmund, Germany - Air Berlin B737-800 D-ABKF aborted take off due to two different air speed indicators. 165 passenger, 6 crew no reported injuries. (Jan 3/10 06:05Z)

No photos?, but also being reported is a B727-200 cargo flight in Africa (Kinshasa-N’Djili Airport, Congo) that landed in heavy rain, hit standing water on the runway, and was substantially damaged sliding off of runway.

Accident occurred Jan 2/10 aircraft operated by Compagnie Africaine d’Aviation - CAA. They are known to operate B727-231 9Q-CAA 21986 an ex- TWA aircraft.
