Just did a flight. Altimeter reads 9000 and ATC sees us at 8900 but FlightAware (ADS-B) reports us at 8500. WTF??
ADS-B / ModeS transmits uncorrected pressure altitude.
ATC corrects using the current altimeter, flightaware does not.
