I am not sure if this was the right subtopic to post in, but I could not figure out which one was right. Anyway, here is my question: Why is the static aircraft data not in the aircraft.json file, and how can I access this information? I understand that there is a static file updated whenever PiAware is updated, but shouldn’t it be included in piaware.json? Also, is there free extended static charts for different countries, such as Canada, as I get a lot of traffic from Canada at my local airport (while I have seen https://data.flightairmap.com/ I have not found any documentation/instructions on where to place it)? Also is it possible to turn some sort of received data into a aircraft type via opensky api?
