Returning station

After a break of a few years due to lots of family issues I’ve decided to return to aircraft tracking.

My set up is a pi3b, rtlsdr v4 and an antenna in the post. Antenna is to be mounted a few metres above ridge tiles so nice and high. I am screened to the East by the cotswold hills otherwise good. Quick test yesterday using a quickly knocked up dipole 0.3m above ground showed plenty of aircraft to 50+ miles so it’s all working. V4 seemed simple to set up but not as easy as a V3.

I’m a radio amateur and I live in an rf heavily polluted area, affects hf but not vhf and up so reception will be fine. I also monitor aircraft on L band using a pi5 and sdrplay duo.

OK, I’ll need a bit of advice here, I’ve got the pi and v4 dongle running, loaded graphs 1090 as well. On my Web stats page flights are showing up, minimal as I’m waiting for an antenna to replace the scrappy dipole I knocked up, even inside not near a window it’s still seeing 50+ miles.

Issue is graphs 1090 isn’t showing any data, all graphs blank except for the bottom section graphs showing temp etc. I’m going to purge and reinstall graphs1090 but is there anything I should be looking for? Location is taken from piaware isn’t it?

All help greatly appreciated.

All sorted, ran the graphs1090 install again and now running fine, tar1090 running as well.
