New apache vulnerability out in the wild

There’s a new Apache vulnerabilty on the loos, and it’s nicknamed text4shell.

It is a vulnerability in the apache commons text libraries so it might be something to look into if you are using apache on your server(s)

Possible solution will have to come from the software vendors but a heads-up won’t hurt :wink:

Just to clarify, this is not relevant to Apache httpd server. This is specifically for applications that are written in Java and use their “commons-text” library jar. Given that, this is not really relevant to FlightAware in any way.

Thanks for the clarification, Being an IT-guy myself dealing with these kind of issues on a almost daily basis it was intended as a heads-up.

Good to know that flightaware and its feeders aren’t impacted :+1:t2:
