Just heard from a Crew Member from Monarch Airlines that he got a letter telling them that the airline will cease ops in 45 days. The airline is owned by Globus Travel Group. Has anyone else heard anything?
It could be that they are only be stopping ops into the USA.
From what I could tell, the UK/Europe branch is still taking flights right up until next summer, there has been no recognisable data to show that any of the company would be ceasing to exist any time soon. I’m no pilot for them, but I closely follow their aircraft. I noticed far fewer aircraft approaching EGKK, but I guess that’s just the winter schedule.
They did , as a matter of fact , stopped operations to the US. To bad.
