yes it’s the cheaper one for about 140$ that i have. and yes i was able to overcome a small hill that is about 100 feet higher than the one my house sits on top. so - without direct line of sight i was able to pick up signals from edmo (4 miles away) as soon as they pulled the aircraft out of the hangar 
i bought it at their shop over here in germany - and the antenna is a really good one, other good ads-b stuff you find here https://shop.jetvision.de but is again german.
the pictures were taken 2 years ago when i did all my testing (antennas, dongles, radarcape, airspy etc.) in my attic. today i have just one feed raspi2 with nooelec dongle, uputronics filter/amp and jetvision omnidirectional antenna (mounted on the roof) Post your PiAware setup - #158 by TomMuc
