I’m thinking about going to Northwest Michigan College for the Aviation Program there. Do you FlightAware-ers have any advice for me??
Pursue a career path that will provide you with a backup should you be unable to maintain a 1st class FAA medical.

I agree with chrisjohnston50, make sure you have a backup plan god forbid something hinders you from flying. As far as the flying portion get into the books early it will save you alot of money. Try to get a 1st class FAA medical right away since you are wanting to make this a career i am assuming. That was you know from the start if you can get one and maintain it. Another piece of advice…HAVE FUN… Hope that helps some.
