Do you think that it was a good idea for Emirates to only have 1 daily flight to Houston? I know this is due for Emirates starting to operate to Dallas-Fort Worth, but do you think they could have still managed 2 daily flights to Houston, even though Dallas is 3 hours away?
2 flights a day is a bit much, especially when one of them won’t hit the best connecting bank at DXB.
Also, Emirates flies to IAH, not HOU.
If they thought that adding the DFW flight would affect their HOU flight, they are probably mistaken, very few people from Dallas would drive to IAH to catch the Emirates flight. Most would probably fly from Dallas and connect in Atlanta on DL, IAD on UA, or Europe on AA/Oneworld if going to DXB before the nonstop was available.
