Does anyone know why Delta flight 872 (MSN-DTW) was diverted back to the Madison, WI airport this morning?

I heard what I believe was the aircraft flying unusually low over my house south of Madison.

Returned due to engine failure.

Thanks. Sounds scary, but I guess that’s not entirely uncommon.
