Chicago Midway Airport New Flight Pattern

for the past two years ive notived a completly new flight landing patterns when planes are set to land or arrive from the northeast corner of airport, and i must say its a really cool approach to runway 4R northeast corner, planes now approach runway from the beautiful lakefront from the to make a more safer and straighter approach then the old big buttonhook turn they did all the time

Approaches to 4R would be going Northeast (coming from the Southwest).

I believe you are talking about the approach to 22L.

Every time I’ve flown into MDW we have landed on 31C, so nothing exciting there.

You can view the current flight patterns for Midway and O’Hare on my ADS-B heat map.
