Built my first antenna and doubled my coverage

Since I have a few hundred feet of RG6 compliments of the cable company, I thought the solid copper core of inner conductor might be a good material for a 1/2 wave version of the 1/4 antenna that’s being discussed here and in one other thread. So far I’m not seeing messages over 40-45. When I switched it from rev 1 (1/4 wave) it was reading 80-90 messages. I’ll run it for a day or two.

Also note that the wire in the RG6 is steel, copper clad, not solid copper. May not be helping the cause here.
