Has this been posted her yet? I haven’t seen it.

Not the accident aircraft, but same type, same airport. A VERY challenging airport, especially on a gusty day. 5.5 degree glideslope? Fun, fun, fun!

Very bumpy landing - YouTube)

Yeah, I saw the story yesterday, thought it would’ve been posted already.

FlyNYC - When I first saw that vid I was wondering why I couldn’t hear the screams from outside… The twin otters land like that here all the time :smiling_imp:, sans the flaps.

Those BAe146 are tough birds!

BOLTER BOLTER BOLTER

Oops! I thought we were back in an F-18  carry on!

I can imagine a NASCAR commentator’s voiceover saying “well, he’s gonna haveta git those tarrs changed after flat-spottin 'em”*

*(translation for anyone on the other side of the pond: “oh my, I do believe that gentleman will need to repair his tyres”).[/quote]

I would have loved to hear some of the CVR during that.

Didn’t we have an extended discussion about FlyNYC’s referenced “accident” back when it occurred and determine they had indeed broken the tail on that bird?

I did a quick search but didn’t come up with anything.

I think we did.
