Are you still using the MSI SDR?
How are you powering the LNA?
Have you validated your CoCo on a “known good” system?
(They are easy to build, but difficult to build well)
- I wanted to build another feeder at my work and I thought I could try out the MSI panadapter for that purpose.
- I powered the LNA trough a separate BIAS-t which was powered from a spare USB charger.
- I have build a few COCO antenas, and I had a spare one for testing, which according to Sitemaster has a vswr of 1.8 at 1090MHz. Not the best I know but nor the worst either. Unfortunately since I have changed my job I no longer have access to an VNA:disappointed_relieved:. My feeder at home also runs on an 8 element COCO antenna. I have already ordered an RTL-SDR V3 dongle to pair with the LNA and I’m thinking of buying myself an Nano VNA for my upcoming birthday
. I can almost see my wife’s face watching me “playing” with my stuff on my work bench
