I have been playing with some of the data that I captured with the PiAware Tools project I’ve mentioned before. This weekend I decided to connect a few pieces of data together and create a flight profile and flight track plot. I’m not able to release the code for this but I can say it is a lot less than you might think.
Must be nice to have the know how to create something like this. 
Hey Dutchyb, the hardest part is collecting the data in the first place. That’s why I released PiAware Tools as open source. It isn’t a simple installation but it runs smoothly and collects data day after day.
That screen shot does take some additional data analysis and math to produce the flight profile and track map but even that is pretty straightforward once you have the data in the first place.
