Who's Pilatus on Truck?

Very random… I was driving through Quartzsite, AZ and stopped to get gas and I spotted this:

It was atop of an old semi with a t-bird underneath in a used car lot full of classic cars. The tail number of 270AE yielded no results. The only thing I could find was a b-757 under the same number. The fuselage didn’t appear to have any damage, and it appeared to still have the engine. Any ideas?

Give them a buzz and ask, the phone number is at the bottom of the page.

Report back here when you find out.

For starters, it is not a Pilatus PC-12. The windshield and tail are wrong. It appears to be one of these. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aero_Ae_270_Ibis

According to that article, it appears on a few were ever made, and they were cancelled. That was a pretty rare find.
