What happened to live flight tracking in south/central U.S?

I noticed in the last week that south of Lat 42 deg N, the live flight tracking is not working on Flightaware when zoomed out to CONUS view or particularly in the ohio/tn valley when zoomed into regional view. As a meteorologist, I find this feature particularly useful and have been very thankful it has existed especially when trying to find acft that may be in/near icing and turbulence conds.

Please let me/other know if this is just a bug or a permanent change?
