Well, seeing as the aircraft is owned by a financial institute, I say fluctuating interest rates caused the changes.

But I don’t think they are in the “sub-prime” market.

Fortunately it’s not real. It’s a bug in the FAA’s system where another radar site (in addition to the one actually tracking the plane) will report that an aircraft is at its cruising altitude during the climb and/or descent.
