Hi
I am a new user and was amazed to see my old training aircraft on this site!
I learnt to fly in KMO in Whyalla in the early 1970’s, when it was owned by the Whyalla Aero club.
Chief instructor was a guy called Wayne Hinton, and we had some fun times in the old girl, complete with stall and spin recovery training. (That first spin was an eye shutter …or opener… depending on your point of view).
3 revolutions and about 800-1000 feet … learnt quickly to be gentle with control inputs when stalled!!
Lovely aircraft to fly, very forgiving and gentle, but relatively quick for its size.
I hope she is giving her new owner as much pleasure as she gave me!!
Awesome to see her again, albeit in a different color scheme. (was red & white when I flew her)
