Vancouver-based Flight Adventures jet airliner simulator business has only just taken off, but it’s already landing franchise enquiries from Stockholm, Dubai, Hong Kong and New Delhi.
Modelled on Boeing’s next-generation 737 and launched this week, the two-seater glass cockpit took entrepreneur and CEO Jason Da Costa three years to source all the parts and build. While Air Canada already has higher-spec flight simulators – known as Level Ds – at Vancouver International Airport for training pilots, Flight Adventures is billed as the first to open a simulator exclusively to the public here.
