US Airways 732 from Charlotte to Gatwick was diverted to Philadelphia on May 30, after leaving Charlotte over five hours late. I’d appreciate any info on the cause for the diversion.
Okay, I’ll bite, what’s with the “USA” callsign rather than the “AWE” callsign?
It should be AWE.

Maybe FlightAware is keeping both codes for the ease of finding, something along the lines of putting in a flight number for a regional code share under the major carrier’s code (e.g. entering DAL8888 for a flight that is operated by SkyWest as their flight SKW333).
They’re all operating as AWE these days. We let you use either AWE or USA for any flight operated by either; during the merger there was a lot of confusion from our users about who was operating a given flight.
