Having grown up during the cold war, I’ve watched the Victory Day parades, with the Soviet Union showing off all it’s weapons - airplanes, tanks, manpower . . . I would have never thought in my lifetime I’d see Western Troops marching alongside their Russian counterparts.
Medvedev invited American, French, British, Polish troops to march in Red Sqaure today in Russia’s most important secular holiday - many foreign leaders also attended including China’s Hu Jintao and Israeli President Shimon Peres.
