Unclaim (disassociate) piaware feeder from account

Upgraded my raspberry pi. I need to disassociate my old raspberry pi feeder instance (b8:27:eb:9b:c7:1e) from my account timevex. The new feeder instance is (b8:27:eb:d7:bc:90) but I can’t see any stats from that feeder, it seems to be stuck looking for stats to come in from the old defunct feeder ( b8:27:eb:9b:c7:1e)

Please help
Thanks
Tim

Have you claimed the new one?

Yes… via the page & via the piaware-config command

Great news! Your account is associated with the following PiAware receivers and you can view your statistics here:

I have a similar problem. The RPi I am using was based at a friend’s house, he has been unable to disassociate it from his feed despite repeated attempts - and I have been unable to add it to mine. My friend contacted FA to get the disassociation sorted out more than 10 days ago, and I had a try 3 days ago - he had one reply and no fix, I had no reply and no fix.

I’m sure that you will appreciate just how impressed we both are with FA support.

That is a different problem, though. You can disassociate it yourself directly from the stats page. Make sure piaware is stopped when you do this. It will tend to reassociate with a logged-in-to-the-website user from the same IP, so you may want to log in to the website as yourself from your friend’s house while you do this to avoid it reassociating with your friend’s account.

The OP’s problem does not sound like a problem with disassociation since they are independent feeders.

I see stats from your new site here: flightaware.com/adsb/stats/user … tats-29188

After the site has been inactive for 48 hours, you can disassociate the site via the link on the site page.

I was using dhcp and it changed my router IP address to a new address which I want to keep:

piaware doesn’t (and can’t!) change your router settings.

After about 30 hours I logged in my stat site and found a sentence about my old site not providing any data and it asked if I wanted to remove the site. The sentence was a hyperlink which I clicked on. Thank you for providing that Mr Programmer. I appreciate it.
