You have given insufficient information about your system. Cannot help / guide without enough info:
(1) Is your installation on RPi or on a PC/Laptop?
(1) Which OS you have installed on your PC/RPi?
(2) What method you used to install piaware?

Are you trying to follow this method?
Is so, it looks like something went wrong at step 3 where the FlightAware repository is configured.
Try adding the repository again.
Edit: If you are trying to install on Trixie, you will need to wait a bit longer for the official support.
Another edit: Trixie support is now there. Step 3 has been updated. 2026-05-15
