edwards afb is the closest to victorville that I know of. I know there is a aircraft paint shop there. I met some of the crew on a nwa 747 that was departing from cos to vcv for a new paint job, in delta colors. and the tracking gave it a 99xx code for the flight to vcv. or maybe heavy maintenance, that i am not sure of.
google map victorville… you’ll see the boneyard… I highly doubt there’s commercial paint bays at EDW…
hey jim cander, I did find a paint shop at vcv. Its called leading edge aviation services, so any plane could go there for a paint job. google leading edge aviation services and check it out it is cool.
kvcv is also know as the southern california logistics airport. It is the former george afb.
As far as large runways Mojave Air and Spaceport is closer to Edwards AFB than Victorville.

There’s several Navy and Army bases near VCV.
Not same difference to the guy who said Victor Vaca same difference. There’s over three hundred miles separating them.
