OSHKOSH, Wis. - A couple from Washington state were identified Monday by authorities as the two people killed when their homebuilt airplane crashed as they approached Wittman Regional Airport.
Clifford and Betty Shaw of Edmonds, Wash., died in the accident Sunday morning, according to Lt. Cherilyn Eischen of the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department.
Clifford Shaw, 67, was the pilot of the plane. Betty Shaw’s age was not immediately available.
