A Turkish A319 at Moose Lake airport in Minnesota? Bound for Istanbul. Is this a mistake? KMZH lone runway is 3200 feet. THY2855. Seems a little odd. Thanks.
It’s Merzifon , Turkey; IATA MZH ICAO LTAP.
Several duplicates like this and they confuse FA.
I’ll be in Istanbul tomorrow, I will ask them to look into service to Minnesota if you want.
Their is no sevice to MSP or any other city in MN. for Turkish. But the map showed it over northern Minnesota headed into Canada. Maybe a charter? Who knows.

Yeah, a daily charter, yeah that’s right!!!
As I tried to explain, it was nowhere near the US. Flightaware ‘predicts’ what it thinks the flight path will be based on the information given, which in this case is wrong.
It’s regular domestic flight between two TURKISH cities.
Yea, it’s a bug where an FAA LID collides with an IATA airport code.
An A319 would have been even funnier.
That’s okay, according to Flight Tracker - it’s a A320 tommorrow
I was going to post it as a photo at Moose Lake, but then I thought somebody would actually believe me . . .
I should have known. Thanks everybody. Mike
Thanks. I know it now.
