# Time zone?

What time zone is epoch time in when estimated time arrival is returned

The `epoch` field will always be the UNIX epoch standard using UTC.

The `localtime` field is adjusted for the timezone stated in the `tz` field. This can be your local timezone or the airport local timezone depending on your [account’s Display Settings](https://flightaware.com/account/manage).
