Has anyone else felt the death of Verijet founder Richard Kane was a bit “too convenient”? Of course, maybe this is just a product of an over active imagination, or is it? Verijet, in it existent was the subject of one “puff piece” after another in aviation news. They were going to do this, they were going to do that. There was funding coming from this corner, no wait it was coming from that corner. When you tried getting details on the latest big deal for funding, you were met with a stone wall. Kind of reminds me about the alleged Bio-Control Technology pump and dump stock accusations from a year gone by but not forgotten. There were thousands and thousands paid to Verijet and maybe even millions and the clients were left holding the bag. Then suddenly Richard Kane was said to have passed away. There was no formal announcement and I have yet to find an official obituary. The next event…Verijet declares bankruptcy and the petition says the assets are $200 in office furniture stored away some where. Don’t bother looking for a cemetery plot, it appears there was a cremation but still no formal obituary. So then…where did all this money go? Just thinking out loud!
