The new Delta A350

If you follow the new Delta A350 tail N501DN for the last week it has been traveling between ATL and DTW with a bunch of circles over Cincinnati.
Does anyone know what this is accomplishing?

Pilot training flights - the circles over Cincinnati were touch and goes.

Thanks for the info. Any idea why they use Cincinnati?

Cincinnati is technically still a Delta hub, albeit a shell of what it once was. It is also halfway between Detroit and Atlanta with three north/south runways to work with. My guess would be location more than anything else.
