Can anyone tell me the difference or recommend one or the other…
The JetVision cavity filter is 3 times the cost of the Sysmocom… does anyone know why, is one better than the other. Whatvis everyones thoughts
I can’t comment on the sysmocom, however, I have two Jetvision cavity filters for many years and they work very well. I have so much noise in my area that I have to put cavity filters on everything(120Mhz up to 1.6Ghz). Without them, my range drops considerably.

I am on a mountain side so I know that I am locked to an extent with one side. The other side I should be pulling crazy distances especially with my dpd antenna. I’m only averaging 222 Peak range. Using a blue FlightAware, I definitely know that I have noise. I have a cell phone tower nearby along with many access points throughout the property, iot with an amplifier on it. It’s just such a jump with the jet vision but it’s good to hear how well it works. Did it increase your range and positions?

I am using the sysmocom cavity filter, when I bought it, the other cavity filters were not available. I am pretty happy with it, cavity filters seem to perform well.
The cost of a product depends on many things, raws materials, design, production, number of units produced, marketing etc.
The finale price then depends on the competiton in market where it is sold, or not sold when cost are higher than the market price that would allow it to be sold.
So in short, I guess the jetvision cavity will work well, or maybe better, but not 3 times better.

The engineer in me prefers the shape of the Sysmocom filter response.
Also the Sysmocom filter is considerably smaller than the Jetvision.
In use, both seem to perform equally as well
