Strange Altitude for a A320

This A320 caught my eye on the radar over Laurel, MS for having a cruising altitude of only 9800ft. Whats going on here?

It looks like there are lots of storms near where the flightpath. Maybe they are staying low to avoid the bad weather.

My guess would be a pressurization problem.

Makes no sense… CLT is a AWE maintenance base. Turn around a go back.

The flight operated IAH-CLT … Looks like it got to 13.800 feet and had to descend to FL100… Almost certainly a pressurization problem.

If it was a problem they experienced it 10 minutes after departure. It’s just as certain it isn’t a problem since, as I said, CLT is a maintenance base for AWE.
