Probably not, more like they got a vector and then were forgotten???  
Whatever the reason they went right over the space launch complex at Vandenberg AFB.  
LXJ417 today, SBA-SJC.

Probably just an erroneous position. Take a look at the tracklog:

```auto

12:55 34.60 -120.43 302 16500 climbing
12:55 34.62 -121.05 302 16700 climbing
12:55 34.63 -120.43 302 16700

```

302kts isn’t going to make 1.2 degrees of longitude in less than a minute.
