When checking unread posts, recent comments posted since the last time the discussion was checked are marked ‘new’. If one uses the report link to identify a comment as spam, when FA returns one to the discussion, all ‘new’ flags have been reset. At some point in the past, the ‘new’ flag status was retained upon return from spam reporting. This seems to have disappeared in one of the upgrades. Is is practicable to retain the flag conditions after spam reporting. This is a minor problem that increases in significance as the discussion thread lengthens and becomes more complex with sub-thread branches.
