Southwest's first scheduled arrival into ATL

Incoming flight from BWI, set for the first flight out Sunday morning at 6:00.
I never thought I’d see Southwest in Atlanta … never.

Well I’d think it was inevitable given the Southwest purchase of AirTran. Eventually, all the AirTran aircraft at Atlanta will have the Southwest callsign instead of Citrus

This is not a scheduled arrival into ATL by Southwest. It is a ferry flight.

The first **scheduled **arrival is flight 1073 departing AUS at 06:45 and arriving in ATL at 09:55.

You are correct but a ferry flight is still a scheduled arrivel.

WN has been to ATL many times before on charters.

By that logic, any flight is a scheduled flight, even an emergency landing because when the emergency is declared there is a estimated time of arrival.

No, the ferry flights, and charters for that matter, are NOT scheduled flights.

I think everyone understood the point of my post without it being overanalyzed and “corrected.”

Sorry - words have meanings. Both your subject line and body text were wrong.
It was not the first scheduled arrival into ATL
WN, as pointed out by 71Zulu, has had numerous flights into ATL over the years.
