#1

Try press releases.

You can also get the upcoming Southwest routes on the link I sent you a few days ago. That’s the link that shows new routes on the Just Planes site.

No BTV in the foreseeable future. Sorry…

#3

Now why would you say that? And what makes you think that there won’t be service in BTV. I think that a daily flight from BTV-MDW or BTV-BWI would be a nice service in BTV. Plus there are all new jetways waiting to be use.

ROUTE MAP

Directly below the map image on the left:
*Service to Kona, HI begins June 14, 2007. (Operated by ATA Airlines)
*Service to Lihue Kauai, HI begins June 15, 2007. (Operated by ATA Airlines)

#5

Just trying to save you time in case you were looking for new service to BTV.

#6

Dami you read my mind. But BTV needs new service real soon. They said that they wanted to fill the spot back in Jan but nothing has happened there has been no word on whats happening with BTV and new airlines.

#7

Maybe BTV will get Express Jet service. I ran past one of their new ticket counters the other day. Southwest operates in minumum volumes of about twenty flights per day. They aren’t likely to add one flight per day between BTV and MDW or anywhere else.

#8

Oh thanks for that. That sucks though I think Southwest would be a nice site in BTV. If your talking about the new Express Jet I don’t think that will happen sense there operating to the south and southwest area. I know that in April I think it was, that Freedom Air which runs Dash 8’s out of here to JFK will be changing the Dash 8’s to ERJ-145’s so that might be nice to see, although I wish they would have both here because those Freedom Dash 8’s look good taking off in my backyard.

I got on my first ever ERJ-145 the other day (operated by Freedom). I fell asleep before taxi and woke up as we were aborting take off. I still don’t know what happened. We wound up being transferred to another flight a few hours later.

#12

wazzu90 that sucks was the other plane a ERJ-145??? I remember my first ERJ-145 ride. It was from BTV-CLE it was a nice sunny spring morning in April and that jet took off like a rocket. That was also the day I flew on my first 737-300. Both very fun flights and both operated by Continental Airlines.

Boeing 737-300
ERJ-145

#13

No that ERJ remained at the gate until I left on an MD88 four hours later. I could have jumped onto another ERJ shortly after returning to the terminal but they didn’t let us take our roller boards off the original one. That was all transferred to the mad dog.

To get to Southwest’s “Press Room” all you have to do is to go anywhere on the site. Once that page loads (the one after the home page) there should be a Press Room button at the very bottom. Click on the word
Press Room and there should be a list of months listed (the current month is the default). There is a route announcement for March 8th for June, July, and August.
