I have an idea to spread the word about flightaware. You guys have a beautiful and extensive gallery of aircraft photographs. How about a widget for a slideshow that can be embedded by anyone in a website or blog. It would be a cool feature to have in any website or blog and of course it would link back to you generating a whole bunch of new users.
