This Skyway Airlines flight shows up everyday as a scheduled flight. Skyway hasn’t been flying since April 5:
FA receives its data from the FAA, therefore the flight plan for this flight must be in the FAA computer system. Possibly Skyway was moving an aircraft or doing some other sort of movement that would cause this to show up.
I would bet that they had software that would automatically file scheduled flights. Probably web based and its still filing plans with the FAA. None of the flights are never actually departing.
Scheduled carriers file their schedules with ETMS well in advance and it appears they’re not automatically removed when the carrier goes defunct so ETMS continues to send us the same scheduled flight every day.
