Singapore Airlines Orders 7 A350F frieghters

Wow. Just Wow. I did not expect this.
Singapore airlines ordered 7 A350F’s to replace the old 747F’s
deliveries expected to start 2025 as the first airline to operate the A350F.
this agreement includes a swap of 15 A320neo and 2 A350-900 Aircraft that are in the SIA group order books. The A350F can burn 40% less than the 747F and will be powered by 2 Rolls Royce Trent XWB-97 Engine.
This really surprises me. I did not expect this.
What do you guys think about this?

I think they haven’t heard about the paint peeling off. :joy:

Ha ha. I don’t think SIA have issues with the paint on their A350’s (yet) unlike Qatar Airways. Finnair, Etihad, Cathay Pacific, Lufthansa and Air France now also announced the paint saga on their A350’s.
We’ll see who else announces this issue, looking closely at SIA.
