Try it on battery. If your ADS-B signal level’s OK then the problem’s with the lappy’s AC power supply/charger. You could try clamping on some ferrite chokes on its power cables. If that doesn’t help you need a new power supply as yours is emitting high-frequency noise.
You can also try adding the ferrite chokes to your coax and see if that blocks some of the noise…
You can also try disabling the monitor, removing anything that’s plugged into the laptop to further narrow down what the specific offender is.
Getting the antenna up high might also help so the laptop isn’t in the area where the antenna is most sensitive (on the horizon).
Optimal would just be to have the antenna outside or in the attic where you have no noise sources … but that’s not always possible.
