After messing around all day trying to get my Pi 3 online somehow a second site # 21108 KJKL got added. I do not have a clue how this happened.
Probably going to require some admin action to fix it.
There should be a link on the statistics page that allows you to disassociate the site from your account.
I used the disassociate link and the 21108 is still there.
Why do you think the site is not yours?
New Pi means new MAC address means new site; both sites associated with your account are connecting from the same IP.
Its at an airport that is 40 miles away. Piaware says its 8 miles. It does not cause a problem, but it was not there before I started playing with Pi 3.
If you added a new pi that had flightaware installed, then yes – it’s probably shown up as a new feeder site on your page. Just because it says it’s near another airport doesn’t mean it is. You can change the coordinates, as well as nearest airport in the settings/stats page. Easy way to test is to bring the new pi back online and see if the new feeder site on your stats page comes online as well…
If you have not explicitly set a location for a new site, it estimates the receiver location based on the flights it sees. This is not very accurate.
The new site will be your Pi 3. The system is working as it is meant to.
