Hi,
I have been looking at the Search method with the inAir filter option. I find that it doesn’t seem to make much difference if I have this filter set to 1 or the filter removed. I am looking to include aircraft on the ground. Can you let me know what this filter does and how I can get aircraft positions that are currently on the ground please?
Many thanks
Stewart
The -inAir 0
filter can be used to return recently completed flights along with the last recorded airborne position. Setting the value to -inAir 1
will prevent recently completed flights from appearing in the results. Ground positions aren’t avalible through FlightXML and this isn’t expected to change in the near future.
If you are ground position data (such as the taxi phase of a flight) these potions are made avalible through Firehose instead.
