MSNBC picked up the ‘story’ from AP who picked it up from the BBC who (supposedly) picked it up from some unnamed and undated newspaper interview.
MO’L denies it. Atrocious reporting(sic); sadly all too typical of the once-mighty British Broadcasting Corporation.
